I always laugh at these threads..."gxx is better than mxx" "but mxx is better than lxx"....

Isn't it painfully obvious that the best weapon is the one you've learned to use the most? The stats on weapons per kit are NOT that off from each other.

One day I swear the g36e is best for my medic, then I find myself loving the m16a2, then the ak... It comes down to how well you've learned how it shoots. Surely the weapon you've used the most is the best.

I love the AK-47 over the AK-101. It just sounds cooler and I mow down more people with it on Iron Gator than a lot of other weapons.

The PKM is good.. As well as the DAO-12 and P90.

But regular weapons own unlocks.

900 Hours of infantry combat has taught me that Standerd = Unlock = SF unlock. Any Weapon is just as deadly as its' unlock/s in the right hands. Guns like the G3, F2000 and SCAR-L are all slammed by people who just don't really know how to use them. I really don't mind which weapon i have with any kit.

But to answer the question in the topic title, Yes, and vice versa

unlocks are usually better than standard weapons, but standard weapons like ak101,ak47, m16 m11-87, rpk, m24, and type 95 carbine totally pwns and just as good as any unlock in many
ways.

As far as medics go, the standard weapon stinks, whereas both the unlocks are useful depending on the circumstances. You can do a fair job sniping with the L85A1, and the G36E has good accuracy (I've had some pretty inexplicable headshots at long range with this thing).

I remember people saying that back in v1.0 when the deviation was to high. Ultimately the deviation was adjusted.

M16A2 is best overall. You will miss out on half of your kills using all those crap short range weapons.
