american muscle cars are all power no glamour, see the f360 or the porsche carrera, they are cars with a soul, cars that say something, you should really watch topgear...
I do watch Top Gear, and like alot of foreign sports cars, but big engines and mondo-horsepower have always held a special place in my heart.
On a side note, I think Ferrari's are cool, but I can't stand Porsches. There is something about the exhaust note that makes me cringe.

This will put everything into place...
This Ford GT AkA "Ferrari killer" most certanly will destroy Ferrari's, Z06's and Lambos

Well, actually, I'd get this one.
Heffner's Performance Ford GT Twin Turbo 850 Package
Twin 61 mm turbos...850 bhp...so much power when the turbo's spool that you'll destroy your tires in first gear if your not careful.
Linkage.

Yeah but the Saleen S281 has more HP in it and its Running Twin 57's
Surf the website, he's got an SRT10 making 1900 bhp and 1900 ft/lbs.
Sick eh?

I too love the 60s Vettes . . . all Vettes for that matter. I would love a 67 Stingray w/ a 427 *drool*

I disagree completely that American cars don’t have soul. If you want to pay an extra 94K for “glamour” in the 360, go right ahead. The Vette can beat or at least hang with the 360 . . . for less than half the 164K sticker price of the 360! That’s the best thing about American sports cars, you have a car with wicked performance that you can drive comfortably every day. Not so with many the European cars.
I agree with BigmacK about the sound of the Porsches, yuck. Gimme good ol’ throaty V-8 growl. Chevy love, baby! Lingenfelter Corvette has an a u t o m a t i c twin-turbo Vette w/ 1000hp at the wheels. Imagine trying to drive that slow!
The Veyron is butt ugly, I’d go with a McLaren F1 or Ferrari Enzo if money was no object. Who wants to drive a fast car that looks like crap! The McLaren and Enzo are just plain sexy!

I'm afraid to say that you all lose
End of, no more discussion
(although the Veyron is fairly good)

You're saying an Aston Martin can beat a Veyron, McLaren, or even a Vette?!?! ROFL

God how i always loved Saleens...
Saleens are cool. Callaway and Lingenfelter Vettes will whoop em, though. Chevy rules, Ford drools.
Corvettes, the poor mans sports car
Don't get me wrong, it is a beast. It's just complete shit as a daily driver.
Porsche still is the best there is in terms of value and quality. Once you drive one, there is no turning back. Anyway, for the price of a Z06 you can pick up a fully loaded Cayman S (and still have a few k left) or a used Carerra S.

For me....
Ferrari = Win
Bugatti = Win
Saleen = Win
Porsche = Lose
As I said before, there's something about the way the engine sounds, that I just hate.
If its not an impressive grumble, I look elsewhere.
Personal preference.

I've never heard someone bash the Porsche sound, it is distinct and fantasticBigmacK wrote:

As for the others you mentioned, Porsche is a lot easier on the wallet
