What Graphics Card do you recommend..... PCI or AGP
Pci | 66% | 66% - 20 | ||||
Agp | 33% | 33% - 10 | ||||

theres a reason new technology come sout, PCI-e is faster than AGP.
PCI ? , or do you mean PCI-e? becaus PCI cards are really old, and totally suck.
I'd go for the PCI-e card, PCI-e mobo's and cards are not expensive anymore

PCI?
PCI-e i think you mean
PCI-e i think you mean
yea, i mean in my old comp i had a PCI and it did the trick...it really depends on what your tryin to get out of it per se....like in my new comp i have a PCI-E 7600 GT....but cards rank PCI ==> AGP ==> PCI-E...
hope that helps ya...

why is this even a poll. agp is out dated technology.
yes but he may be talkin about 2 types of outdated technology here...in my old comp my motherboard only had PCI slots....not even an AGP...he may not be able to get a cool new up to date computer right now so is tryin to make the best of what he has...and may have AGP and PCI slots....and not a PCI-E....and he is lookin for help....thats why there is a poll on this.Marlboroman82 wrote:

Anyone know of a decent site...or even a decent graphics card....PCI-e then. Thinking of spending £200 which is $375.

If that's the case, Craig1998, you need to elaborate more in your post so you'll get helpful responses instead of "WTF!? OMG!? PCI and AGP?!"Craig1998 wrote:

before you go dropping money on a gfx card....you have to make sure your motherboard supports a PCI-E card....does it have a PCI-E slot?Craig1998 wrote:

No worries....Post not very clear...sryMarlboroman82 wrote:

Take your pick, they have a great selection of cards, and are pretty cheap. GL

Can you tell me?
PCI - Express is cheaper and faster... unless you are really thinking about getting a PCI be ready to throw down some dough in order to play bf2.
yea your motherboard CAN NOT support a PCI-E card....so look into a high end AGP card like the Nvidia 7600 GS....from what i understand that is the best AGP card you can get out there....unless someone knows something i dont with is very possible. Personally i suggest an AGP card....look into that 7600 GS though....its like $200
I think the best AGP card available is the one I have, the Gainward Bliss 7800GS+. Unfortunately if you're asking this question to increase your BF2 performance I would point out from your thread elsewhere that your CPU is a socket 478 (?), again not the latest technology and this could seriously bottleneck your system.
Personal opinion, save up and buy a new PC.

good point....thats why i upgraded my whole system this summer and just built myself a whole new rig. But yea i see you have the card so you would know better than i would....i had an old 478 socket with only pci slots....and board could only take a gig of ram....so i was at a huge disadvantage when it came to playin bf2.DoctorFruitloop wrote:
