I went to the site, typed in my EA name/pass word. Typed in my BF2 name/password, then typed in the BF2142 name, but it keeps saying "Invalid EA name"....Anyone know why?
Also, spelling and caps are right, I know for a fact.

2) Your EA Password
3) Your BF2 Login name
4) Your BF2 Password
5) The name you want on BF2142
Apparently characters to be used must be a-z A-Z 0-1 i have seen issues with people using symbols and so on.

But just like BF2, you can have more than one BF2142 account attached to an EA account. So both you and your dad can have seperate 2142 accounts.Goven wrote:

One problem I had with registering my name for the veterans program is how I typed it. I tried to register the name Sgt._Eraser74 (my BF2 name) for the veterans. It kept saying invalid. I eventually settled for Sgt Eraser74. Notice how the period & underscore are not in the name I eventually registered. Seems that atleast the period & underscore symbols aren't allowed to be a part of a 2142 name. I'm not sure about the rest of the symbols though. Hope this helps out anyone registering or having difficulty registering their names for the veterans program.
Whenever I try to register my name for the veterans program it always gives me an error message that my name "doesn't meet the 2142 screename criteria." What the hell is that about. There's no underscores or special characters at all. Anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it?
What name are you trying to register?
The same one I use in BF2. No special characters, underscores, spaces, or clan tags. No matter what name I chose regardless of the name I want, I keep getting the same error. 'name does not fit the 2142 screename criteria....' What the fuck.

I tried my name of 1hawaii50, and it wouldn't take it so I settled for hawaii50
Did you have any "-,_,=,+" in your name that wont let you get the veterans program
NO special characters. As I said, it doesn't matter what name I put in, I keep getting the same error. I don't know if it's some kind of webpage error or what.
