1st, i would really ask you to trust me, im really not trying to find another cd key, please just read.
OK so i USED to play bf2, i say used to because the patch screwed it up...ok so as you know EA isnt the greatest thing so the screw up a lot, which most likely means that they messed up the patch, which they did. so.. when i try to install 1.4 it gives me an error,something about not enough space in the bf2 drive (i have 40 gb free), so i decided to unistall and then reinstall, but in the process of reinstalling the cd gave me an error when installing kubra dam and then it just stops(tried 3 times). Luckly a week before my brother installed(w/ my cd and cd key) it on his new comp to see how it would look(w/ the highest settings). He never played it after trying it since he still likes farcry better. So he had the idea of sending me the files and the registry key(since i cant install it), it worked fine until i tried to join a online server, when i do it says invalid cd key...So then i tried the cd.exe file that the game brings, put my cd key, which is not in use by any one, but it still didnt work,any one have any idea???
please note: that im not trying to get a new cd key,else i would pay the $10, nor i lost my cd,nor trying to use the same cd key twice, im just trying to fix one of the EA screw-ups.
