Anyway, a couple of my mates are into Anime. It's strange, no matter how much you hit them they never snap out of it. They made we watch some stuff - one was called "Ghost in the Shell" the other was this 'comedy' about a High School or something.
You know Ty, (the guy in my sig/guy I'm named after - sorry Stryyker, not named after you,) the original drawing of him was as an Anime character - kind of following the Dragonball thing I was into. Yes, I was into Anime, but now I purge myself of it, and like I said, hit my mates who are into it.

full metal panic was great, and so was initial D. the only other one ive watched really is neo genesis, which was ok but gets weird near the end

Robotech was the best when I was growing up, a 3 generation cartoon that was actually 3 different series' that they slapped together for the TV to have enough shows to warrant it being shown.
Who would know that they would actually started using some of the tech ideas in modern aircraft.
There were some others but they were from japan, & weren't translated so I didn't know what was going on but it sure looked good with all the people dieing in space & war everywhere.
These days I'd have to say south park, family guy, drawn together,king of the hill with Beavis & Butthead as honorable mention.

i like naruto and before i liked dragon ball
i used to watch dbz when i was younger that was always good. but ive grown out of it. my friend is into anime hes shown me some stuff but it didnt really appeal to me. ninja scroll was ok and bits of ghost in the shell, but i wasnt paying enough attention to know what was going on. havent seen much else except akira and neon genesis they were ok. but its not really my thing.
