Infantry Only is a good idea. The problem was that none of these maps (with the exception of Jalalabad) were designed with the intention for IO. It would have been better (but will never happen) if they redesigned the maps for IO play where the spawns are closer. Or they could have included transport vehicles w/o the machine guns.

i played a 64 player wake infantry only the other day it was madness!
You could'nt get to the island because of the AT guys so pritty much everyone was a sniper bar me, i was just revivin them all, an damn did they need revivin!

Wake is too big for infantry. I say no.
ive tried infantry only wake, its pretty fucking awsome, but thats just because dice wont fix aa and air to ground combat.

I wouldn't play Wake Island anyway, but that would be interesting. If you get a boat full of snipers you may be able to avoid the rockets.
no i just played wnx 24/7 sharqi and they we're trying some new things. Went to IO wake and it was zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!
Would be long, boring, dull and full of ATers taking out US boats and snipers to mop up the rest.

Playing wake with no vehicles would be fairly stupid...its an air map...why play without air vehicles?
