I need some help, a couple of weeks ago my loading times increased greatly along wiht the varifying client data. The clarifying sata part alone takes around 3 min or longer. I need some help on how to fix this problem i really dont want to reinstall the game but if i have to i will, I have already tried using the problem fix option but no luck. Please help?
i had this prob after the patch - not to the same extent mind you: it increased from 10 seconds to 30. the only thing that has decreased it for me is an uninstall/defrag/reinstall, now it's back to about 10 again.
It's all in your hard drive by that I mean the speed of it.I had to get a SATA 150 drive to speed up the loading after the newest patch.First i tried bumping the memory to 2gig but that didn't do much at all but when I went with the SATA drive it decreased the load time by about 3 minutes and I'm back in the butter zone.

That happened to me also at first. Now I have no problems loading at all. It went from 3 minutes to 15-45 sec at the most. Don;t know why but I did not do anything special.
After patching my load times sped up. It seems to take no time at all to fire up the game and servers. One thing I did notice though, was that updating the server list freezes when it's done. So, I just STOP UPDATE followed by REFRESH and all is well.
Thanks for the info i already have a SATA drive, i just cant get over the diffrence i am reinstalling the game now.
