BF2S Forums Drawing Critique

Haha, a big thankya kindly to everyone who commented on my work.  I really need to update my site with all the new work I've done...

As for technical info on the drawings, the first one is all Conté, the second and third were done with mechanical pencil, and the sculpture observation was done with black and white conté.  Conté > Charcoal > Chalk...not as messy, layer it on thick for effect, but still be able to spread it around and blend it.

goddam I wish i could draw 1/2 as good as u Ty and Marconius. Definatly making me feel inadequate

You do. Everyone does. It's just a matter of finding it. Art is kind of a blanket term for all sorts of things. Such as painting, architecture, acting, writing, poetry, etc.

Find what interests you, and what you're good at. You might not become as good as you'd like to be, few artists do, but it is alot fun. And I believe its good for the soul.

Im more for the technical drawings, wish i had gone for architecture as a degree rather than IT, IT sux!

Hey, since I fuckin' hate that five second "Gimme karma or the Bunny gets it" drawing, (the one which mcminty awesomely coloured above for me to make it a billion times better than it originally was,) which I did around April when the Karma system fit emerged, I decided to re-draw it. Same character, same message. It's nice to see how much I've changed and improved.
Heh heh heh. I gave him a bigger gun. I love the expression on his face too - Ty's, not the Bunny.

So what did these five months teach me? That I still cannot draw rabbits. Everthing else is coming along though.
Yeah, it's very rough. I left my eraser in LAWS122 and we don't have one lying around home - I'll have to buy a new one tomorrow - so you can still see some pencil sketch lines. Yes it was done on lined refil too, or more accuratly, a page ripped out of my Law book.
Anyone else think I shouldn't be a Lawyer. I don't seem to be very Lawyer-ish thus far.
