Will lets admit it. The last few years have been filled with a lot of negative things. For instance World Trade, the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, and a lot of terrorist bombs. So can it get worse, and do you think another really bad thing will happen in the nearest future. If you do then what? I have just searched a bit on the Internet and read something about major things through out time, and after a little more search I read something about Nostradamus.
Well to say it really simple someone thought, that he had the ability to see into future, and he has come with some predictions that came true. For instance he said that once two flaming towers would appear, and we must think that it was the World Trade Centers. But come on nothing to get exited about, but it is strange, that he could predict major things in the future and with a precise date for when, it was going to happen. So can this be true? Hard to say. If we look into what he has predicted in our time (2000-2010) he says that WW3 will come sometime between 2007-08. Well can this be true. Well look at the world today. The U.S.A is having two "wars" in Iraq and Afghanistan, and with all of those terrorist bombs. Then what about the conflict with Iran and its Nuclear project. Could this evolve into a war sometime. Well we just have to take it as it comes.

Also please tell what you think will be the next negative event.

I've read the story on Wikipedia and your story. It's pretty damn strange, he even predicted communism and the World wars. What also predicted was the following : Europe will unite, and a Frenchman will control it, and protect it against terrorism. That's something to worry about, a Frenchman leading Europe .

No but for real, if his predictions are right we'd better start worrying.

Well it is pretty strange as you said. But in a few years we will see if it will be true.

Just because you read something in a book, or even worse, online...doesn't mean it's true.

Thomas, you know that these facts have been around for a very long time, so do you not think it is a bit frighting that WW3 is said to to be in one year from now, when we are having these problems.

That whole flaming towers thing was a hoax. He never said that. Look here: http://www.snopes.com/ to read more about things he didn't say. Personally, I'm not going to quiver in fear because some guy said we're gonna have a war 500 years ago. Nostradamus's predictions are like fortune cookies, he made sooooo many of them that a few of them are bound to be correct.

Well it may be that he shot a lot of shots and some of them made the bullseye, but how can he have matched the years with the events.

No, I don't. If it's going to happen, then it's going to happen. No use crying over the inevitable. If it's not going to happen, then it's not going to happen. Worrying about something that some guy said thousands of years ago is a waste of time, effort, and life.

I saw a program on Nostrodamus once, he didn't predict anything. His ramblings can be interpreted in many ways, especialy when an event has already happened, like the WTC towers, else we'd have seen it coming.

The war with Islam and it's murdering ways is going to get much worse before it gets better.
Expect many more attacks on inoccent people, then one day we'll press the big red button and be done with them.

It's all in how what he wrote is interpreted. People manipulate what he wrote into what seems to be a accurate prediction. Nostradamus was a jackball that died from gout.
