Thats the second person I've seen with more driver assist points than me. I used to be 29th in the helicopter ranking, and I fly almost entirely as pilot. Every once in a while I'll solo or gun, but for me flying is more enjoyable.

Skill has nothing to do with rank. There's plenty of lower ranked pilots out there with some really good skills.

Most likely true though about the top ranked players being mostly gunners and soloers.

90% of the time I solo TV/gun, so unless I know the person is good at gunning I'll jump straight out the heli. But if they're a good gunner I'll pilot for them. (rarely come across good gunners)

Vanilla choppers - I like to gun. SF choppers, I like to pilot em. Dont know why, but in SF, people just dont line up TV shots, even against AA/armour and even helis. The pilot just goes in with rockets. Without fail.
Also, the apache's rockets are awesome

I'd pilot more if i wasnt M-95'd everytime i breathed on the chopper. i like piloting way more than gunning.

pfft... the OP's heli stats are crap, I'm prob a hundred times better with rockets than he is. Also, I'm pretty sick at solo tvs and solo gunning. Why is self-gunning BS? Next to the laser guided missle, the tv is the most powerful weapon in the game....so...why not use it.
