I recently watched what some might call a "conspiracy video" made by a man named Michael C. Ruppert.  Mike Ruppert was an ex LAPD Narcotics detective that raised questions against the CIA and their drug running operations and lost his job over it.  Now he travels the country giving lectures over the current government, CIA and world policies in direct and indirect chain of events that led up to and events occurring after Sept 11, 2001.

This man knows his shit.

The thing that sets him apart from "conspiracy theory quacks" such as Alex Jones and the Loose Change team is the fact that he has had experience in the system and has had experience with the consequences of opposing the governing parties (i.e. CIA, DEA, FBI, and the current and past presidential administrations.  He presents everything as if he was a detective giving a testimony to a court and cites every single piece of evidence as to make sure that nothing is speculation.  He also puts out a newsletter on his findings, of which 20 congress members and numerous house and senate members subscribe too.  But the thing that set him apart from all the others I have seen is the fact that he offers $1000 to anyone who can disprove or discredit anything that he includes in his presentations.

The video will shock, inform and scare the shit out of you.  In particular for me was the part where he talks about the CIA funded drug trade in Afghanistan and the Patriot Act.  I think that if you love your country and are concerned with it's well being, you should definitely set aside a few hours to check this video out.

Dude... dont get carried away... Just because he can find stuff that you cannot disproove, that's not to say that HIS interpretation is the right one....

ie:
The moon will hit the earth very soon. I have proof of this because: 1) The moon is a very large rock suspended above earth, and 2) if you take a rock, raise it above earth and let it go, it will fall.
Now I offer YOU $1000 to disproove any of my two "facts"... You can't because they ARE facts... My USE of those facts however, is totally bogus.

Why do you think conspiracy theorists actually get peopel to listen to them ? Because if you dont think things THROUGH, they dont sound that stupid after all. And dont get carried away about people "recieving" his newsletter. I'm willing to lay odds that these politicians are either getting the newsletter involutarily (ie. he sends it just in the hopes that they may read it, all the while it makes for something nice to light up the fireplace), or they're getting it because they're trying to impress someone over something. No US senator or governor is STUPID enough to disbelieve the facts of 9/11, and CERTAINLY noone are dumb enough to try to bullshit the americans into believing that it WASN'T an attack. That'd just loose them the next election.. and that's a politicians livelyhood !

I would debate this with some level of maturity, but the fact that you posted this so soon shows that you haven't even attempted to watch the video.  That means you have no grounds to debate because you know nothing of the man other than what I have told you.  Which begs the question of wether or not you are an impressionable idiot, merely basing your questions upon what others have told you, without doing any real investigating of your own, which in a nutshell means You don't know shit.

The second paragraph pretty much proves to me that you are retarded.  Newsflash!  CNN, FoxNews, NBC, CBS and ABC tell you what they want you to know.  Like I said, do some research of your own.  Start off by researching who owns these news stations, then who owns the people who own the news stations.  Then go look at who the major party campain contributers are.  Then, if you still beleive everything you see on the news, and take the official stories of fact, perhaps I will debate in a mature fashion with you.  Until then, go get yourself bent.

I understand what the first speaker was saying, but disagree.  Also, I envy most of you who were not in the military at that time.  I was in Afghanistan a couple months after 9/11.  You can't imagine the feeling of having a taliban soldier in your sights and squeezing the trigger with 9/11 fresh in your mind.  I will never be able to understand how most of you dealt with the anger of that day.  I got to kill the fuckers who supported the attack.  Some people praise me for fighting in those wars, but I can't imagine sitting back and not being able to inflict some revenge.  That is right I said revenge.  That is all that was in my mind.  Right or wrong, that is what I was after.

Nice vid BTW.

I probably watched about 30 mins of the first hour before labeling him as a conspiracy theorist...and a good one.

I didn't see a smoking gun in the first hour so I quit.  If you believe there's smoke there's fire, then he's the guy, but mostly what he's presenting is unrelated facts and adding his opinion to tie them together.  Of course, there was hour 2...which I didn't watch...which might have actual proof, not circumstantial evidence.

Anyhow, it was interesting...thanks for sharing.

Untill the video can tell me WHY the government would do such a thing, i wont belive it. Only thing in there that really raised a question to me was the whole passport thing. I think the US knew they were shitfaced if they couldnt get anyone for the attacks, so they got some random guy that is a "terrorist" and made up the worst story ever by saying it fell out of the sky.

?

I love my country and I love the American governmert, or at least the one my forefathers built.  However, I am rather distrought with the current state of affairs in America.  Corruption, corporations and the Bush administation.  Any administration that can draft and put up for vote a bill like the Patriot Act without thinking there is anything wrong with that is, IMO, very un-american and not worthy of standing at the reins of this great nation.

Ummm, pay up.  The moon is actually moving further away from the earth due to it's rotation around said planet, and if you suspend anything of that size above the earth at such an altitude it will not fall towards it, there is simply not enough gravity.

Ok, I think this guy's been burned enough.  Maybe next time he will put some thought into his snappy quips.

To quote Will Ferrell, You're either English or just retarded. The length of a day is governed by the speed of the earth's rotation, not by the distance from the earth to the moon. While the moon is indeed moving away from the earth, its only booking it at 3.8 centimeters a year. That's less than the length of your penis. For comparison, the Eiffel Tower expands 15 cm during the summer because of the heat.

While there is indeed fact to the assertion that the moon affects the speed of the rotation of the earth, it is not significant enough to be of concern. It took us a billion years to add 6 hours to the earth's day. So, for you to be around for your 27 hour day, you'll have to live 500 million years. And you penis will still only be 4 cm long.

I'll be expecting my $1000 check within the week. PM me for my mailing address.
