I don't think that BF2 will become obsolete anytime soon. BF2142 sounds great and all...but I think people will like to have BF2 because it is based in modern times and more realistic. Future based games won't take over modern day based games!!

i jumped on a medal of honor server the other day and it was full and its been out 4 or 5 years, without stat tracking. BF2 has been out just over a year and its got a huge community and stat tracking. so theres nothing to worry about.
I like BF2....as long as it is fun and there are servers I will play.
s.t.a.l.k.e.r has my choice, looks sweet, but ill still play bf2 and 2142
