I don't see what everybody complains about. My stats get updated over the weekends all the time. I stopped playing last night a bit past midnight, woke up this morning to see my stats updated. Besides, it's just stats, it doesn't really mean much anyways...
Alot of people play on the weekends. I remember the amount of populated 64 man servers yesterday topped 800. Ranked of course.

a lot of people check in the weekends. More people check than before, it's a hard time for the server. Just click on your name after you played, go have some fun and it will be there in no time. It updates after 2 houre and then the queue which is done in less than an houre so basicly you can check your stats every 3 houres. Go watch a dvd or something
If everyone's stats would update the moment they want it, it would just be too hard for the server and it would crash.

Do the math, more players playing = more stats to update, which in turn = longer wait times. Wait times will return to normal monday.
Why do we have to wait?
- Because there is a queue.
Why is the so queue long?
- Because something happened to the server
- Because there are more people than usual
- EA is slow
