Yeah, install the full patch
I uninstalled BF2, then re-installed it along with BF2:SF, downloaded the patch from bf2s, installed the patch, then when I try to start BF2 a black screen appears and nothing loads. When I try to Ctrl+Alt+Delete my computer spazzes out and I have to restart. This never happened to me before with other patches so I doubt that my system is to blame.
i installed 1.4 incremental, no problems so far.
Uninstall the 1.3 patch before installing 1.4 Just find the 1.3 download file and open it then select the unistall command. Dont go into your program files and uninstall bf2 main file, just find the 1.3 where you downloaded it. This file will have the uninstall command for 1.3 patch only

just installed it , run it , black screen then crash to desktop? Not happy
CTD on SF server loading screen last night...
I posted about this before about 1 day after 1.4... its as simple as re install dont buy new parts
After installing the 1.4 incremental, I got a CTD when I tried to spawn into Jalalabad, and a Punkbuster message on any other map about altered content.
I uninstalled everything keeping only my profile, then reinstalled, and got crashes when spawning. I created a new profile, and everything worked. I then replaced the new controls.con and profile.con with my old ones, and now all is good.
Hope that helps somebody.

yea man, I keep getting intermittent lags and I never had it before. I can see this starting to annoy me.
I've also had "there is a prob. with your connection" 3 or 4 times but it didn't crash.
