"–" is some sort of escape sequence (or perhaps an escape sequence mis-spelled)... I'd have to go looking for charts to tell you what character it's supposed to represent... but probably something like a "dash" (though I would think for either you can make with a standard KB, it'd be a short form of hyphen or underscore). I need to start programming again.
