Peeps get whacked all the time, but yes, that's unfortunate. The Aussie's better get their celebrities into some kind of protective program for a bit!
Far out. That's three in a week.
First Steve Irwin, then Colin Thiele, then this!

Us aussies are having a really crap week, peter brock was a legend, ive grown up with his name being synonymous with V8 super car racing, a true aussie who will surely be missed.
In all seriousness, if the powers that be are deciding to hit Aussie icons can they please get rid of Germain Greer?
Damn Feminist needs to get whats coming to her.
More sincerely, my thoughts go out to the Thieles, the Brocks and the Irwins. This sucks...

Australian motor sport legend Peter Brock has been killed in a rally crash in Western Australia.
WA police have confirmed that a car competing in the Targa West rally crashed into a tree at Gidgegannup, north of Perth, killing Brock and injuring his co-driver Mick Hone.
The Targa West takes place over four days and is divided into two categories, competition and challenge, the latter catering for relatively standard specification road cars.
The rally began in Perth yesterday.
The pair, in a 2001 Daytona Coupe, were well back in the 80-team field and would have been one of the last teams to begin today's leg.
Brock is a nine-time winner of Australia's most prestigious racing event, the Bathurst 1000.
Race organisers said an announcement would be made soon, confirming only that an accident had taken place.

May you rest in peace Peter

Yeah, they are...This is an absolute tragedy. Two good blokes lost in the one week. Australia will remember this week for many years to come...
Time for new great men to rise up then.
I have a massave pic sighned by him in my room.
To avoid confusion I've merged the two Peter Brock threads into the "Debate and Serious talk" one.

He was an absolute legendary race car driver and did a hell of a lot for charity too. Sad day for Australia.
