I'm aware that Commando comics are still in print, and I must admit to being partial to the odd one...BUT...are computer games, particularly war games such as the Battlefield series/CoD/MoH/etc, are they filling the same sort of need/role/gap that Commando comics filled in their heyday?

neva heard of Commando comics, but comics were the thing to do then, and video games are the thing to do now.
