It was all a smear campaign aimed at the President and his advisers.

Well more typical Dems in the USA.  Can't win a election but its their god given birthright to be there and they will try anything to silence / jail those who don't agree with them.
I stood in line for four hours. They better give me a Wal-Mart gift card, or something.  - Rodney Booker, Job Fair attendee.

On an irrelevant note:

...
Democrats say the failure to capture bin Laden highlights the administration's weakness in fighting terrorism.

"Five years ago, Osama bin Laden directed the attack against America, yet today he remains free and continues to threaten America from his secret location," said Sen. Byron Dorgan of North Dakota.
...
Sorry, but I just had to laugh. As I recall, it took awhile to find the Green River Killer. Bin Laden is an international entity.

Weeks old news, it was Robert Armitage...of course it was a smear bucket.  Are you kidding me, the prosector knew it was Armitage WHILE Libby and others were taking heat.  Interesting stuff though, notice how the media thought the leak was inherently HORRIBLE when it was believed to have been Cheney, Libby, etc, but now oh Robert Armitage, he just made a mistake, its ok.  Yeah double standards anyone?

indictments mean nothing, they only focus on how serious the charge is for the sake of publicity, then, when nothing comes to fruition, it falls quietly away

meanwhile, if you make a movie that might implicate a democrat administration as being lax and contributing to the evolution of a terrorist attack, there is talk of having your FCC license revoked.
