Dropped about $.35/gal since Friday to $2.24/gal.  Coincidence?

It'll probably jack up soon once the stupid money gets out of the futures market...

I'm going to celebrate by filling up and trying for the Vet Transport Badge...beware armadillos, squirrels, cats, possums...yeeeehaaaah

I don't know about you but it has dropped considerably around here. most likely because the summer driving season is coming to an end.

Pug I am aware there are many factor that play into the gas market. This is a record find and that is simply what I was sharing. (Finding, exploring, retrival, refining, market, reserves....) most certainly play their part but that doesn't mean you overlook the fact we just found a shit load of oil..lol . I do understand the need for people not to be confused and to believe when they fill their tanks up this weekend it will be less expensive.

And confusion sets in.  I wasn't arguing or meaning to lecture if you took it that way.

I posted what good ol' Pop says - he'd would have been fired for proposing a raw deal...in fact he said that his boss said he'd be fired for merely LOOKING at seismic data in water deeper than 600 feet (he did anyway).  Raise the price per barrel (aka "Kiss off Arabs") and we deep drill the oceans and grind shale.

Respect to the Pop - he made his name on some of the bets made on the North Slope exploring Prudhoe Bay.
