i put this on the beta forums so i thought some of you might like to read my guide aswell..
I'm goner be writing here about the recons 1st unlock on the right tree and how useful this can be if in the right hands of someone who knows what they are doing.
c7 vs vehicles
As many of you know from bf2 this can work if you take your time and make sure you are not seen by the enemy. This is the key NOT BEING SEEN there is a number of ways that you can improve your chances of pulling this off in my experiance:
1) Use the map- by this i mean if there is a hill/building to the side of the enemy use it to block their view of you. The worst thing you can do is run from a 100 metres with c7 out in your hand right to the front of the vehicles because the enemy will take you out before you get 1/2 way.
2) Take your time- by this i mean to start with dont use all your sprint up and be left with nothing for the final streach and the retreat.
3) Their view- dont come the way the bullets are flying sneak round to the sides or the back.
4) If you make it to the vehicle and get the c7 on it get to your retreat place and just as you about to set it off you find youself being shot at and killed, dont worry all your hard work is not lost respawn near to the place you were killed pick up the kit you had by pressing G and set it off.
C7 and defence/attack of the titan
Defence- Ok your titan sheild has just failed and you hear the old mans voice in your ear "the enemey has boarded your titan". Your teams job is now to keep them at bay.
C7 is the most useful thing there is in the defence of the titan. I find the key to this is THINKING AHEAD AND PLANING WHAT THE ENEMY WILL DO. As you know there is 4 reactors that they must 1st take out to get to your core. To start with the enemy can only attack 1 or 2 as there is sheilds to 3 and 4 at this point get yourself into either corrador ( i tend to go to the one with less of your team mates hanging about, less chance of tks. Right now comes the fun part to set up your c7, you need to place it at the end of the corrador on the wall, this will make it harder for them to see and will also take out any others hanging around outside the room. as soon as you see one come in boom you get the kill and a defend point with out any probs at all. Ive had a kill streak of 12 doing this and its as easy as pie
Attack- simular to defence in a way. Try not to be the 1st in as the 1st few always get mowed down. Once the rest of the team has made it to one of the corrodor and is now shoting randomly at the reactor its your job to guard them by this i mean place a pack of c7 at the wall next to the sheild wear only the enemy can go through. As soon as you see one jump through the shield to try save his reactor boom you get a kill and a attack point just repeat this as you advance.
ok getiing near the end now
thought i just add some random tips:
1) put c7 of all 4 sides of the silo. You can them forget about it as soon as you hear we lost silo 2 or what eva set it off and 99% of the time you will get at least one kill
2) enemey spawns the apc and transport chopper act as a spawn point when the land it near a flag and run off to take it quickly place a few c7 packs on the apc/chopper wait for them to cap it while you run to a safe viewing point, as you will see 3-4 will run back to the chopper ready to fly oof to the next flag this is when you set it off and get a good 3-4 easy kills sometimes more
3) As you move up the recon chain you will find you self will active camo this is great for helping will all the above sneaky parts
