BF2S Forums anyone tell my why the f*** War College Ribbon requires 3x ratio?

i feel your pain.  i'm almost at the 200 hour mark and i dont even have a 2.00 w/l ratio yet.

i'm working to finish off the ribbons...i have every one except the Legion of Merit (which i should get tonight/tomorrow) and the war college one.  its seriously a pain in the ass though.  i recommend playing 16 player servers.  the rounds go much, much faster and all it takes is one good squad to win.

i think very strongly that ea will change this to 1.1 ratio cause you still need to get some hours as commander and you have to get 45 points so i think it would be more fair if they change this cause you cant just make people win and make them follow your orders so no need to worry.

oh well...perhaps im just being too obsessive with this game
maybe i just gotta stop caring about medals and points so much and just learn to enjoy the game, like i used to just enjoy bf1942 and didnt care about points, ranks, medals etc

cuz now, im sort of afraid to join just any server or any game...knowing that i might worsen my ratio if i happen to join the crappy team. 
imagine that...im now afraid to play a game because of a medal
i guess this ranking business has brought out the worst in all of us sometimes

yeah that too...the recent SF addon has really screwed up the loading times

Ok u said if u cant make it to 3:1 w/l ratio u suck. I cant make it to 3:1. So u said I suck. Lets compare our stats then. I chose the stats that seem to be most important: Flag captures, kills and score per minute.

My stats:
Score Per Minute     2.93
K/D Ratio     2.33
Captured Flags per minute: 0,1487
(I rarely use tanks or helis)

Your stats:
Score Per Minute     1.56
K/D Ratio 1.50
Captured Flags per minute: 0,1076

Looking at this I would not say that i suck. But u still got far more wins than me. You can only have achieved that by joining into the winning team if ur team is losing. This is pretty lame behaviour. WC ribbon indicates that u are a win team joiner and nothing more. Sure....u can also achieve it if ur mr. supersoldier and u alone can make ur team win 3 times more. Another explanation is to play on 16players servers so if ur very very good u can really make ur team win (I only play on 32/64 servers). But it is still hard if u r not win team joining.

Yes it isnt hard to get if u join the winning team thats right.

I suck at flying helicopters.  Can this ribbon also be changed so I can get it without stopping sucking so much please?  Whilst EA are at it, I don't want to have to play the game for every hour of every day, so how about they just give every award (badge, ribbon, medal) to everyone and we can all stop bitching about stuff we suck at?

Obviously you missed school the day they talked about sarcasm in literature.

Ohh, and those stats you speak of, score per minute means nothing.  The only SPM's over 2.0 belonged to tank or chopper whores, and since your K: D is over 2.3 that pretty much proves it.  Henceforth, youre a whore, a uneducated lame ass, and an overall douche bag.

They should drop part of the requirements to 2:1.  Out of the top 45K there are about 110 ppl who have atleast a 3:1 W/L

Ahh I see.  Since BlaZin.uk has a score per minute of over 3, he must be a whore of some sort right?
But then checking his stats...you find he has hardly spent time in ANY vehicle...

I personally have a SPM of 2.13, and each day it can spike upwards or downwards. I don't consider myself to be a vehicle whore, and even though my favourite kit and most used kit is the medic, I've hardly used it since the 1.03 patch. I've been trying for the Veteran Badges, and as you can see I've got all but one for the kits.

Saying people with a SPM of 2.0 isn't always true, as I personally try for teamwork, mainly flag captures which give you 4 points in 5 to 30 seconds depending on the situation.

As for the insults and abusive behaviour, what's the point?
