My cousin is selling a computer for 400$ that he custom built. Here are the specs;

Intel P4 Hyper thread - Prescott
3GHZ Processor
Dual Processors
1GB of ram
Dual Layer DVD Burner
Case is garbage, I might get another one
160 SATA Hard Drive
ATI Radeon 9550 256 Radeon MB Graphics Card

All for 400$. Is it worth buying?

Needs a new video card, then you'd be able to run BF2 on medium just fine. $400 is about the worth of that PC, so yeah, go for it.

but if your gonna play BF2 i would Suggest getting 2GB ram just cuz its loads maps and smoothens out the game play...

Over a gig is only needed for high textures. You won't use a whole gig is most cases if you run low or medium textures.

looks a lot like my current rig, except that I have a X800PRO card and 1.5gigs. replace the gfx and youll run BF2 just fine (no medium~high anywhere, but can do)

he's selling 400, family 300, ok deal. get it with the case and all. buy a 7600GT for less than 150 bucks and your fine.
