Hi - first post!

I need to uprade my crappy old Radeon X300 because the graphics are just not good enough. Ive looked at cards and have found these two for around £130 and i was wondering which card is better or performs better with bf2.

Thanks looks like i will go for the nVidia then
Also just wondering would a 500W power supply be enough?

500w should do fine, since the 7600GT requires no extra power. It gets all it needs from the PCI-e slot.

even though i might be flamed for this, the 1800gto is superior in many games. also i think you can unlock some pipelines on it.
once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot  xxx galore'. While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.

Hi, welcome to the forums.

Check this thread too for some information.

I´ll suggest the Nvidia 7600GT for some higher settings. But remember, it also depends on your other components
