Just curious...

I know it wasn't in the change list from EA, but I was playing some Kubra last night and it seemed as if the flares were there for decoration and enterainment for the attacking jet.. I noticed this going both ways (giving and receiving)..

Just wondering if anyone else experienced this too or maybe I was having a bad night..? Prob the latter...

Anyway i only ever notice 1 missle might sneek through from time to time but usually nothing to worry about usually!

This problem has been around for quite some time now. I see it all the time on Road Rage. You go in for a bombing run in ur A10 and then drop some decorations and get hit by 2 missiles. Luckily you can whitstand more then 2 and you can get out of range pretty quickly.

Pull up and fly away. Drop some decorations. If you can get altitude fast enough you might survive. Problem is tonguskas that you werent bombing but one's that are parked god knows where.

Hmmm, i managed to keep a few locks when I was in an F-35 fighting the Mig-29 that I thought would normally have been broken when they dropped flares... still, I'm not complaining....

F-35's aren't on Kubra..

I can avoid Tung's & AA's ok.. I'm referring to the F-18 & F-15's missels locking on.. Flares seem to be useless. I have several hours flying... and avoiding jets... Lately on Kubra... any and all times now w/ one on my tail I can shake em but .. the dreaded Air to Air are getting through..

I let the flares fly early, late, in circles, going up... and ...DEAD...

I figure I'll light up the skies for my fellow team.. all to enjoy as I burst into flames

Just thought I'd ask and see if others noticed the same..
