Cheat or patch issue?

I got quite annoyed while playing 'Nano Ranked...Pure Carnage Jalalabad only'. The American side only showed half of the names on the team screen. i got killed by a American player: I sat in a buggy, behind the machine gun, shot one enemy hummer, one kill, then another buggy arrives, American, i start shooting, American gets out and shoots at me ... and then Whoosh back to menu screen!! I hit esc to get back... I'm killed by one of the Americans, his name did not show in the team screen, i only briefly saw his name, but i could not find a resembling name. while getting back from menu screen, the in game screen did only show like half a second the name that killed me and then disappeared. Then i respawn on the main MOC base (still Jalalabad) to defend it. Behind the building on that flag there is a breach in the wall. so i Throw grenades and see them kill 2 enemy's, but one stands in the middle of those soldiers, reviving them while my grenades go of on the same spot (i threw them all at once).

Names not showing on team screens, getting killed by being brought back to menu screen (no connection lost), opponents not dying from several grenades (thrown right next to him)

I have never been thrown back to the menu and getting killed that way, team screens not showing all players that i already saw but very, very, very rarely.

Let me know if you had same 'strange' experiences.

PS i have a very fast pc with 2 gigs of ram and Nvidia 7800 GTX (so it certainly is not hardware issue) and I've played bf now for almost 400 hours, so i think i know when something 'odd' happens.

or ban them from on line gaming for ever, I'll settle for that too...

sounds like you have a badcase of not actually knowing what the enemy looks like, without nametags

i got the bug about going back to menu screen once in awhile too..

not about name tags, about fact that other side only showed half of the players on the screen you get when you push TAB. names showing or not doest matter to me at all. in real war only tags are around your neck.

when you hit tab use the mouse wheel to scroll up the names on the name list. I have had this happen to me before.

nonono, I tried that, i could not scroll, only 11 of 10 players where showing

On Jalalabad, I also got something strange, and I don't know what its cause is : when waiting after I died to spawn again, I couldn't see the kit selection menu. I had the map on the right with the spawn points on it, and only the two titles of the menus, one for the kit, the other for group selection. Has anyone experienced it ? Or maybe I'm not on the right thread... If this is the case, please excuse me.

It is not a bug, happens to me all the time when I switch pilot/gunner seat. I accidently press ESC without realizing, and a few seconds later it drops to the menu.

I was sitting in the turret all the time, i was defending the main base and keeping an eye on our flag in front of it. I only move the mouse and my eyes. I did not touch any other key...
