5 or six beeps? sounds like bios doesn't see card

N7600? is that a Geforce 7600? because 7600s only come in PCI express. the 6000 series cards are the last to support AGP.

You probably need at least 450W PSU and it potentially may need a power cable of it's own. check the installation guide to be sure.

That would be why I have an AGP 7800GS+ which is actually a 7900 GPU. But the rest of what you said is correct. Look for a power input if you haven't already done so, they need their own supply, and if that don't work it may be that you need a bigger PSU. Try unplugging any CD or DVD drives that you have to free up some power and see what happens.

no it didn't came with one of those i thought myself that was weird so i think i have buy one of those cables?

If it's got one of those 4-pin molex power connectors on it, yes you need to plug a spare power cable into it - if you don't have a spare, you can buy cables that give you an extra connector - if you can find one...

thanks to everyone who helped me i finnaly made it to work and yes it was the molex calbe that wasn't connected.
now i installed the driver from the cd so i don't have to install the driver from nvidia website right?

Yes, definitely download the latest drivers.

DON'T install them straight away though!

The ones on the CD are never the latest - they'll work, but you might not get the best performance or stability out of them.

Though at the same time you might find them more stable than the latest.

Download the latest drivers, but don't install them.

Install the drivers on the CD first.
Then, just run it like that for a while - get a good half a dozen or so sessions of BF2 on that setup and see how stable it is - if it's running fine then you at least know that those drivers are stable.

Now, either way, whether it's stable or not, you might want to consider updating to the latest drivers - as I said they're likely to give you better performance, but their is a risk the system will be less stable.

If your system isn't stable then install the latest driver anyway - they may cure all your problems. Or they may make it worse - it's one of those 'you could gain a lot, but there is a risk you'll lose some' type situations.

Sorry, for being so 'sit-on-the-fence' but if you've been playing BF2 for a while you'll know that sometimes you get a 1.2, but sometimes you get a 1.3...

Also, I run ATI, so I don't know how stable the latest drivers are - I'm sure one of the nVidia peeps that hangs around could comment on that - and post a link to the latest drivers for you...
