Just installed it with no problems.
I click desktop icon and the BF2 avatar thing pops up....and the screen goes black like it normally does.....

But instead of going to log in screen it brings me back to desktop.

Clean reinstall solved that for me.

so uninstall...then reinstall and just get 1.4 full eh.
