As for riots when hockey came back, hmmm... well we Canadians are a peaceful bunch, except when it comes to hockey and the gloves come off.  That's when our aggression is let out.  The night of the first game the Toronto Maple Leafs played, every bar was packed, and you had to be there three hours prior to the game to get a seat for some places!  I went to Shoeless Joe's with 4 other buddies and we had 20 pitchers of beer among us.  Sure I was piss drunk and pissing every few minutes but hey HOCKEY IS BACK!!  You need to celebrate those kind of events by self-deprecation through alcohol!

'Your signature loads up a while after your stats in BF2s does.  Usually it is a few hours, but sometimes it is a day.

You can still play single player, just make an offline account.

Oh. OK thx about the SP bit. I assumed that, like Steam, you would have to connect to the account servers at least once, even if just making an offline account.

So does that mean that no multiplayer/account servers for another week bit is accurate?

Does that mean I won't be able to login to EA Account Servers until a week from now?  As in, can't play even the single-player aspect?

That's a huge misunderstanding... lol

The account server is probably a much higher priority than the lowly XML stats server. Maybe if people would stop using the old stats feed for their web site, this may not be happening right now. So for all you that posted "..but such-and-such stats site is working perfectly! WTF?", look where that got ya! (pure speculation on my part)

So what's going on!  No multiplayer at all???????  How long is it going to be down?

Well i like multiplayer but im not going to wait around for 20+ mins watching the spinning 2 icon....

hmm k.. i know know what happens to sigs and stuff... and that something is with the feed.. and dont beat me for ot but:

when im playing and i cannot even look into the BFHQ. because of that problem.. will they save the info or not.. O.omeaning will they show up after they fixed that or will it be like its now after tehy fixed that and 8 hours are lost... ?  and for the spinning 2... erm has it 12 mins then it was ok..

BUT NEVER CLICK BFHQ... because in the following game u have no unlocks anymore.. dunno why.. but every time i treid it "deleted" my unlocks, i had to re-start, and re-login. then they were there in game again
