Yes - you can have several hundred within seconds if they are port scanning your machine etc. Norton is a mem-hog firewall though.

seriously, delete it. AVG Free Edition in combination with ZoneAlarm Free, is better, less CPU, less memory, better protection and detection.
and if you are prepared to pay for it, then you can get tons of stuff better then Norton.
ow, and never whine if you get problems uninstalling it with THEIR uninstaller, it does not work, they don't want you to delete their software, fucking newbs that they are. (cant do it better myself, i know )

i had malware on my pc but norton didnt detect it, i used spybot search and destroy and it is sweet
