things you can't do on a pc..
final cut pro, soundtrack pro, motion, iLife,
things u can't do on a mac, some games...
you can do everything, but games it's just that simple
the ONLY single reason pc's are bigger is because you can play more games on them. if they were to keep games console only.. pc's would die. FACT.
ever tried to troubleshoot a BSOD which you have NO idea what caused it.. good luck. mac, specific hardware, specific software = spectacular aftersales and support and very limited amount of problems. and OSX is rock, fucking solid. leopard will kick the shit out of vista, the end...

true .. if all my games (now and future) ran on linux .. i'd be switched on my main machine and vm win only ..

If macs did games then they would be competing with each other, PCS wouldnt just die. Besides the middles mouse button is godlike

I personally hate mac with a passion. Mainly because of their jackass comercials with the emo looking mac guy, and the rich guy in the suit with the pc. But i'll still use a mac if it's got photoshop for editing, and other programs for video editing.

Different markets.  Apple runs in the hardware market, whereas MS runs software on any IBM based machine.  I'd say that the only thing keeping Apple afloat right now is the ipod.  Honestly, my PC can do all of the video, photo, music no problem.  Arguing for one or the other between PC and Mac is like arguing that Chevy is better than Ford.  Same shit, different names.  It comes down to personal preference and brand loyalty.

Sure your computer can do the same stuff as a Mac, that is why all the large broadcast companies work with PC's!
Ow wait, no, they don't. A Mac is build for graphics, it is graphics. It is a damn Unix system that has more eye candy and usefull features than Vista will have!

I bet you haven't even used a Mac to it's full potential.

mac os is far superior to windows.  os X already does nearly everything that was promised in vista and microsoft has backed off of (next generation file system, searchlight function, etc).  macs are in general better than pcs, but they're more expensive.  if you spend more money on your pc, you can make a machine that is just as powerful, but the windows operating system won't let you get as horsepower out of your machine.  but, of course, gaming sucks on a mac.  i just can't wait until i can afford to buy a macbook pro so i can have a windows partition strictly for gaming, but do everything else in mac os. 

also, i'm not a typical hardcore mac guy.  i used to hate macs with passion.  my recording studio was using macs, of course, and i just hated it.  then os X came out.  os X is so much better than anything microsoft has ever done that it's ridiculous.

Holy crap the music department at my school still uses that, or atleast a very slightly updated version, but to be fair it works well enough.

Despite that you've shown that mac's play a fair few games, PC's still play more, and they play more games that I enjoy. As for the support, they have to support old games, as there are not many new ones (compared to the PC) coming out every day.

I stick by my guns, for games and for basic work a PC works better, for production a Mac works better, for other stuff linux works better.
