Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin Dead

Thoughts with his young family. As expected a lot of Aussies seem upset by this loss, he did a lot of good things in his time. It will be a loss because he was the best nature presenter on world TV. What a terrible fluke of an accident this is. Gotta tell my lil un tonight "you know that fella we was watching with the crocadiles yesterday"....

Well at least he did not die of old age somewhere in a nursing home. I love him on TV! He did some commercials for a dutch telecom shop and I will remember him for his energetic style. Animal Planet will be so damn boring now.

It was his job, and I am sure he knew the dangers.

Steve RIP, and I wish Terri, friends and relativess the power to overcome this tragedy.

i must admit he was a very daring person, but showed the nation the dangers of going near these dangerous animals, great guy

Edit: he is the fourth person to be killed by a stingray in australia, so it was very rare

Sucks he died...it feels like someone you know well in real life. Who would've thought he would've made CNN.com and a lot of newschannels report his death like that though...I always thought he was under most radars (as crazy as he was).

This is terrible news, his contribution to Australia and the tourism industry has been significant. Yes, sometimes he appeared to be a wacko... but he was being himself and standing up for things that he believed in. Not many people can voice their beliefs and opinions as loudly and as proudly as he has done... he will be missed.
