So... My computer has decided to be really fucked up.. The internet is really slow, I can't connect to MSN and keep losing connection in game etc. Has anyone got any suggestions? The only time I have seen changes is since getting a new extremely cheapy modem and since installing 2142

EDIT: I'm doing a virusscan now....

Thanks hoar... Programs keep randomly crashing aswell like xfire will connect but then get to main window and just crash

Wouldn't worry about it, 4th Wednesday of every month my internet goes down in the morning, I don't get it back until the afternoon. After that I have perfect (if still slower than most people) internet for the rest of the month. I'm not sure, but I should think your ISP is just doing some server work or maintenance, if it goes on past today and you get the same problems tommorow then maybe you have a problem, but I wouldn't worry about it.
