How many games have existed that track stats, but do not charge a subscriber fee? How long have those games continue to track stats?
How many unsold copies of the game are circulation (that will still require a login)?
I think if nix'ing the stats were a matter of cost, they would probally first stop anything other than game from being able to retreive stats.
Does anyone know what dbms they use for thier warehouse?

Speaking of POE - I was on line last night and I SWEAR I saw a ranked POE server - is that possible?
Oh, sorry - back on thread. The ranking system costs EA very little to operate. The infrastructure is already there & it continues to attract new players. It would be a silly move for them to terminate it. IMHO.
