Stats not updating

I titled it so you would read it.

My stats updated for three days since I got SF and quit updating once I threw a couple of flashbangs on Karkand. For me, I played Karkand the same day I played and unlocked all the SF weapons but my stats still updated for 3 days. I never played assault until after the 3rd day. I decided to have fun and blind the APC and tank drivers who were at our first base. After i threw a couple per round my stats on BF2s.com stopped updating. I wonder if that has something to do with the problem. Anybody else experience this?

Any updates for us, admins?

indeed it's old news, but I would like to hear some news about it also, there is nothing about when it will be fixed, has chuiy (or what is his name) already some news from EA or something ?

Yeah, EA emailed Chuy like three weeks ago but we decided to keep it a big secret...

As soon as we hear ANYTHING from EA there will be a news update about it. If they just plain fix the feed then stats will go back to updating instantly. Other than that we are waiting in the dark just as much as you all are.

This topic has been hashed to death in several other very volatile threads.

Synopsis of what I have read:

BF2S gets it's stats feed from a beta stats server hosted by EA. The feed coming from that beta stats server is currently broken. Other stats sites that are getting updated information are either doing so against EA rules by using the BFHQ stats server, or are doing so only every 8 hours which is the allowed interval between update pulls.

Chuyskywalker, the gracious developer of a site so many seem to take for granted, cannot make EA do anything. He cannot make EA fix the feed, he cannot make EA communicate, and to his credit, he WILL NOT use the other feed because doing so is against the rules and could jeopardize his access to the beta stats server when/if it is fixed.

Last thing I know of they were 'looking into it,' but for the most part it has been total silence.

It does indeed appear to be working!

When Chuy gets home from work in 5 hours he will be able to confirm if everything is working again or not...

don't think they updated, looked at your stats, but your date of last battle stands at 26 last month
