BF2S Forums Do you think EA/DICE delay patches on purpose?

No, because that would cause the sales to decrease for their next upcoming products.

I used to be a BF2 junkie but since the treatment of the patch my game play has gone right down, it makes me angry when you login get in to a server press join then ctd, try again and the same thing happens, third time lucky get into a server start playing a round and then the server crashes, you look around for another server and find that they are all going down and at this point you think fuck it. I wonder if they had another booster pack coming out would it have taken so long, answer : no fucking way, they are a bunch of no good fucks as the last patch only was released on the 23/05/06, Christ that was like back in may over 3 frackin month ago which is just not on, so do i think EA/DICE delay patches on purpose, of course not as they are a bunch of stand up guy and in noway a pack of lying lazy fucks more interested in 2142 than bf2 and in no way would think of screwing the bf2 community as there is money to be made.

I have 42 player on my leaderboard and would always take a look to see who is playing before i login to bf2 and there used to be  around 15 at least on but now i would be lucky if there is 3, it just seems that everyone is sick and tired of bf2 and its fuck ups, lets go back in time to when they released the 1st patch, now that was a great patch that good that you had to uninstall your game then reinstall it and forget about the patch all together as it was a complete fuck up, i remember reading PC Gamer and a few other mags and they were all killing themselves laughing at the incompetence of EA&Dice never had a company released a patch and then had to unrelease it because it had been programed by  idiots, every patch after that was screwed and now just on the verge of bringing out the new patch they have just noticed a few problems which wouldn't effect gameplay but should be addressed before they release the patch out in full, Sniff Sniff i can smell bullshit, it looks like they have fucked it up again and instead of releasing it they have gone back to the drawing bared to go through it again due to incompetence by there overpaid programmers.

Now to the big question will i be buying BF2142, well at the moment with my hand on my heart i can say no, i wont be buying into a game that will have the same bunch of retards in the background pulling the string because as i can see it just isn't working.

rogue granny +1 for you bro, I think you hit the nail on the head.  I've been posting on investor sites everywhere from money to business week warning investors how fucked up EA is and what they have done to customers, as it stands I wouldnt piss on EA if they were on fire, another tuesday rolls by and no patch...  at this point patch 1.4 doesnt matter,  way its too little...way too late.  Do people realise that we have the exact same problems with this game that we had a year ago?  not a damn thing's been fixed!!! how the hell can you say oh, i suppose they will do better next time on 2142.   what incentive do they have to be better if you still pay for broken product, they dont.  my answer to EA is the same answer they had to the gaming community when it made any kind of request...

Good point, but the part about the toyotas wont ever happen, i just got a new sequoia an its real nice, and ive still got my '96 avalon with 150,000 miles (not a single problem in 10 years). Toyota ftw...EA eat shit!
