4.12 now i think. its hillarious, you can use their own program to rob them._j5689_ wrote:
If you're going to get Limewire, immediately search for "limewirepro 4.10.9 pro", download the one that's exactly 3,976KB. Then uninstall Limewire after it's done downloading, find the shared folder and open up the Limewirepro 4.10.9 Pro zip file and simply install it. Now you're workin with Limewire Pro. Faster downloads, more refined search results, more search results in general(I think), and an exclusive Limewire Pro skin. Normally this would've cost you 18$, you just got it for free.
I hope your fucking kidding...NaziPredator wrote:
my firewall just says virus was found and terminated, so if you do get limewire just make sure youve got viruscan etc. all working

limewire seems to work good i think as long as you are aware of basic file sizes.. no a song isnt 104kb so dont download that... common sense seems to be the key with technology

for last few years i do all my downloading off usenet & never had no probs & always get max speed cause everythings on servers & not shity pear to pear sharing.

If you get iTunes, quick time wil come with it, and u need to set that up so it's not running in the background, cause it can be a major memory hog for some people.

Nope, if you download the right Limewire Pro file, it's not a virus. I'm just saying, if you're going to take the Limewire risk. Get Limewire Pro so you get the best possible performance of Limewire for taking such a risk.Kmarion wrote:

Frostwire is good its exactly like limewire but safer apparently! Dont know how but i got it i only got it to download a couple of tunes though i wouldnt use it to download software!
I was using Pro for the record. I had the hidden folder thing. I couldnt do certain things on my computer that involved admin right. I had like 87 files that showed as virus's . Those were not files that i downloaded. Anyways AVG cleared it up when Norton couldnt._j5689_ wrote:

rofl that's the most stupid thing I've ever heard of. Please everyone stop saying any Internet-intensive programs mess with your ping. They're Instant Messengers and P2P Programs, not something that should be constantly running like explorer.exe. LMAOKnight`UK wrote:
I use it ,its okay but does mess with your ping big time whilst playing bf2 try and use another programe if poss because the viruses are getting bad on there .

Then you downloaded the wrong file. Yes, Norton does suck and I will NEVER use Norton AV again if I can help it.Kmarion wrote:

It's easy to download. Just go to http://www.frostwire.com/ and you can download it from there.uk-anubis-uk wrote:
