And? Oil is not comprable to Nuclear power. Nuclear power is the most effecient form of production currently avaliable. Nuclear plants are meant to be used as supply for base consumption supplemented with other forms of energy. Nuclear power is extremely important and in the long run reduces energy costs significantly.Kmarion wrote:

The fact that they have oil doesn't change the importance and usefulness of Nuclear power.

He's talking short term, and what exactly did he say that put SOOO much emphasis on oil, the only thing I got from that statement is that nuclear is the way to go.CameronPoe wrote:

Their intention doesn't have anything to with the fact that you raised an inane point. We simply demonstrated the stupidity in listing their oil reserves as a point against them.Kmarion wrote:

Because, like previously stated, oil reserves are irrellevant to nuclear power.AlbertWesker[RE] wrote:

Impressive knowledge of how power systems operate! I work for the Irish National Grid myself! No nuclear plants though...jonsimon wrote:

The most cost effective method of producing large quantities of power is to supply a baseline powergrid using nuclear power, with nuclear plants producing an amount less than that consumed during the lowest point of consumption in a typical year. Then, supplement nuclear power with a variable output source, such as fuels, to provide the remaining demand for power.
Different power sources act differently, fuels and nuclear energy are not comparable.
I don't doubt for a minute that they're developing nuclear weapons. Wouldn't you if you had the US breathing down your neck and a terrorist state not too far away sharpening their knives? North Korea really showed them how its' done: Get the bomb = welcome to immunity from attack!!Kmarion wrote:
