not only is it better its also cheaper - but the Radeon X1900XTX kicks the 7900's ass by miles and its not that much more expensive...shame my MOBO's AGP....

you cant compare X1900XTX with 7900GT! The first is a highend expensive card, as the 7900GTX is too. The 7900GT is cheaper and above average.
Get 1 7900GT and it fill fit for upcoming games in average settings too. Two 7600GTs are more expensive and only 2-3% faster than a single 7900GT

if you run 1280X1024 resolution, its better w/ 7900gt, but if you run 1600X1280 reso then go w/ sli
Ok, thanks for the advice, but there is no way in hell i will ever get another ati card.
y? my ati card pwns everything (x1900xt OCed to 650core, 1800mem (h20 cooled))....fuckin 100fps locked on BF2, except highly-massed areas on large maps (maybe drops to 90), o, thats with AA 6x, everything high ecept for shadows on ultra-high, 1280x1024 @70hz...well, to each his own...i will never go back to Nvidia...funny how that works out...meh
Yeh. Im getting a new PC in a few days with the X1900XTX - wasnt sure at first but the 9700 pro was an awesome card - still runs HDR even though is hadnt been invented when the card was made

Whats the rest of ur PC specs though? Coz even the X1300 can run BF2 on high detail easily but about 50 - 60 fps, although the rest of my PC's so crap it cant even get close to its full potential...[TUF]Whiskey_Oktober wrote:
