L96 in SF

On this account: http://www.bf2s.com/player/75520266/ I have been playing SF. Last night I ranked up and got two unlocks. I chose the L96 sniper rifle as one of my unlocks. After that I could never choose it on a SF server. I actually went to a vanilla server and was able to choose it but none of the SF servers I accessed would let me choose it.

Is this gun not allowed on SF maps?

Yes. 2nd tier unlocks are only allowed for use in Vanilla.

Actually that's not quite true, you can use all second tier unlocks in BF2:SF when you play as SAS, on some maps, however as everyone else, MECSF, INsurgents, Rebels, Spetsnatz, etc. you cannot. But everything is available to you in Vanilla.

He's right, nor is the P90, just the DAO-12. Tier1 unlocks are as far as they get though the P90 and L96A1 were SUPPOSED to be in SF. They were 'addons' to vanilla to make up for a mistake they made not being able to squeeze the guns into the SF deadline so they instead made it a patch addon type upgrade thing for the luster of their mistake.

The P90 and L96a1 are included into the euro forces as standard weapons, like the F2000, MG36, G36E and Mp7 are standard SAS Weapons, and the SCAR-L is SEAL standard weapons.

That makes me think, why have they not released the SCAR-H as an unlock? That gun would be so sweet.
