Well, this going to sound condescending but, I opt for the US to let whatever happens happen. For better or worse, America can ill afford to get tangled up in yet another quagmire. Iran is going to be more of a problem to THAT side of the world than this side. I say, let Europe handle it. I feel if the US refuses to do the dirty work, (that is, the work that everyone WANTS to see done but likes to sit in the background and NOT get THEIR hands dirty with controversy) the EU will criticize the US for letting this threat grow., and beg for them to do something.sergeriver wrote:
I don't know. I think Iraq was a good defense against Iran, but now it ain't a threat to Iran. I think they're going to use the plutonium for energy purposes, but they're probably using it for nuclear weapons as well. They have a deadline on august 31, but I think they don't give a damn for that, if they open this facility 5 days before. That's because I think war in iran is about to start.
I had to check the poster of this several times, but it's true, I actually agree with you on something. Unless someone has hard facts that they are building nukes there, leave them to it. TBH, it wouldn't bother me that much if they had nukes, except for the fact that they'll start handing them out to terrorists. So if they build some nukes, nuke it first and be done with the whole matter. Who can actually be bothered to go invade another country?lowing wrote:

Totally ,, Thats just it , Its not as much the people its their filthy government who cant get with the program...ATG wrote:
We should try to assist the Iranian people in overthrowing that government. The young people do not want the Mullahs to be in charge. Its either that, or we will be involved in a massive war with them, and most of the Middle East.
Uh. Guys, we tried overthrowing their government. They didn't like the oppressive prick we gave them and they overthrew him. I think we've lost our street cred in Iran.-xXx-MoFo wrote:

Karma +1 to you fucker
theres no way that will work in the real world man. If any one nation EVER uses another nuclear weapon, every other country that possesses them will think that they have the right to use theirs now, which of course leads to nuclear winter. We cant just let happen what happens, but we cant go to war over a power plant. We need sanctions, we need people over there, making sure they dont blow themselves up. we need regulations and restrictions.lowing wrote:

Yeah, US knows best for the world. Haven't you people learned anything from the regime that the US helped install in Afghanistan? It was called TALIBAN... Or that guy the you helped keep in power by supplying him with weapons (including chemical ones) called SADDAM HUSSEIN?ATG wrote:
