I'm waiting for my new memory and the new ASUS Bios that unlocks all C2D multipliers. As soon as both arrive i guess i'll try some more overclocking.

I'm looking into getting the Conroe but I want to get one that is equivelent to my P4 3.2 Ghz Prescott. The rest I'm scraping from the Dimension for right now.
So is it naive to think that a 1.86Ghz Core 2 Duo is about the same speed or a little faster than my 3.2Ghz Prescott?

theres no such thing as a 1.6ghz conroe. but the cheapest model is 1.83 ghz, which kicks the 3.2ghz prescotts ass by a long shot
