Hey, I was wondering if anyone has come across this:

I installed the game two nights ago and have played about 6 hours of it in that time.  I tried to get into a server a couple minutes ago and all of the sudden whenever I try to join one it gives me a popup that says my CD key is invalid and I need to buy the game, even though I have a 100% legit game and have been playing for several hours.

Anyone know what I might do?  Do I have to reinstall everything?

Ok, well, I did pretty much everything listed in all of the CD-Key problem threads and nothing worked.  I have a support email in to EA, but they will respond with the usual reinstall everything (even though I told them I did).

Anyone have any other random crap I can try?  I am bored and need something to fill the time I usually use playing BF2.

Oh, and if an admin could move this to the Help forum I would appreciate it, put it here in complaints on accident.

go to regedit > HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > Electronic Arts > EA GAMES > Battlefield2 Special Forces > ergc
type x9392and your cd key.
That was what help me.

go to Program Files - EA Games - Battlefield 2 - Support

and run Battlefield 2_code.exe

and re-insert your code and it should work..

if it doesn't you will have to re-install the game.
