I like the SF maps...Warlord,Ghost Town,Iron Gator,Mass Destruction,Leviathan...
Maybe SF is based more on infantry because there are no baseraping jets ?
I also like the new equipments like Zipline or Grappinghook....its very useful.
I think SF is better then the two Boosters...you can see that EA killed more time in SF then in the two Boosters.

Your right, SF requires WAY more squad play to win! Its a better game! No armor whores, cause you'll just get owned, no heli whores(same result).   You have to work to get a good k/d ratio in SF, in vanilla, sit in an apc for 5 mins and your god.  I think its a better balanced expansion, plus the zip line and grappling hook are SICK!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love knifing anyone and everyone when they dont know where your coming from!  I got bored with vanilla because of all the cheap play, I don't get that with special forces, thats why I am still playing. . . .
