So I bought my HP m7277c in december and it was 1799 with the monitor.

Soo now i go back to where i bought it today and find out that they have a newer model

Mine New
350GB hdd <600

1GB ram<2GB

no < Wireless LAN

x600 256mb<7900 256mb

Pen D 830 (3.0's) <930

GOD DAMMIT
I mean, its not like my technologys old, 350 GB is plenty for me it still plays every game i can think of on maxed out settings. But it pisses meonff that in 6 months a computer could have twice the storage and ram for the same price.

I have an HP Pavilion 750n but it's pretty much upgraded as far as it'll go. There's nothing I can do about it because I don't have a job.

Get Over It?

With the new release in technology the old version, yet still WAY capable of playing anything, reduces in price. This reduction in price allows the less fortunate to be able to buy such technology that was previously not available to their situations. This is also reflected in products such as televisions and automobiles.

By your purchase of that technology in the past the manufacturing company was able to invest into a newer state of the art model. Your purchase has helped all those less fortunate that could not purchase that card when you did. Do you feel better now?

Have you been living under a rock? This is the pace of technology (and personally I think your first computer a rip-off, unless you bought some massively expensive monitor with it). And two little things, A, hard drives have NOTHING to do with gaming (unless you've got 75% of it junked up, in which case it starts to slow down things). B, I'm confused on the processors. The notation you have makes no sense.

Try plopping down 1100$ on An FX-55 and 1000$ on two GTX 7800s, now replaced with Dual Core AMDs and the 7900 quad series Nvidia cards... it just happens, if outdating irrates you...better become Amish real quick.

Psst.. A little hint: Upgrade gradually. The parts are changeable/addable to a certain extent, you know.. Even if it's a HP.

If you decide to go shopping, make sure your new rig can be upgraded in the future. Check for future CPU-ports, Ram-slots, Dual core support, HT-support and so on.
