I just downloaded the 1.4 patch from a news server. Can anyone tell me if its beta or the real one.

1.4 is still in beta... however there is a leaked version...
and if you do install it...when the real one goes out...you will have to re-install to whole game.
BUT...create a copy of your BF2 folder in programs files..rename it...apply the patch and play...if any problem occur...delete the BF2 folder and rename the original one back to BF2...

That's what I'm doing. I know I'll be in school by the time the patch comes out but whatever, I give up on waiting for EA/DICE to get their acts together.
