Just wondering, my mate purchased a second gfx card for his SLI board and it reccommends that a 550watt psu is used and he is running on a 480watt, will anything bad happen to his system if he continues to run it on 480watt  he doen a staybulity test and it said it was fine.

he has a 3800X2 OCed
Air cooling
2 Gb ram
3 hhd in raid 0
and two 6800 512 cards on a
Ausus SLI board.

so will any thing happen?

Well..

The worst thing that can happen is a reboot during gaming, when the power requirements are at their highest. Thats about it.
I need around tree fiddy.
