There are only two groups of people to blame:

1) The extreme sect of Islam for creating this fear and ridicolousness

2) The passengers who were a little bit too edgy

But who can blame them? Oh wait, I think I just did.  But seriously the majority of the blame falls on the former for creating an environment where people don't think they are safe.  Victory for the terrorists.  Don't be scared guys and only react to someone by their actions.  If they look funny or look Arab, take that into account, but don't act on it, when they start pacing around and making strange movements, or making threats/threating actions, that is when action should be taken.

It' s not only a victory for the terrorists, the medias sell us all this bullshit and there are people who believe them and who actually think that every muslim is a terrorist when it's not true.

People should stop watching the news on TV and watch Spongebob Squarepants, they 'll laugh and chill out and everybody's going to be happy

Read between the lines of the story.
It doesn't say the two guys were innocent, or "doing nothing which would deserve such treatment" etc.
It says
"we're two ordinary lads who wanted a bit of fun"
and
"[passengers] became alarmed at the men's behaviour, and demanded that air staff remove them"

These guys were probably goofing off.

According to the news on BBC radio 2 who interviewed some of the passengers off the flight the two were acting in a strange manner, had no luggage, and were messing around with a mobile phone.  Which IMO is suspicious behavior.

I'm afraid that when I'm on a plane when I see a white person they'll be an uptight douchebag.

Eh, sounds fairly normal to me. Flights to and from the UK have so many restrictions about carry ons, I wouldn't take one either. And if you think playing with a phone is weird you've never been around a group of American teenagers. We all have cellphones and we all play with them or text with them often.

While the wording of the article in the OP does sound like they may have been involved in provoking the response, I'd withold judgement on the two poor saps.

This goes both ways you know - it seems every time a Muslim sees me he thinks I'm gonna invade his house or something - or maybe it was the crowbar I carry for just a bit of fun - hmmm

Kaboom.
