Sorry if this matter has been addressed before but I didn't see a post on it so I decided to ask.

Is there a weaker point on the tanks, APC's, LAV's and any other armor that you should aim for when using the anti-tank rocket?

I ask because many times I have been in a completely healthy tank only to be blown up with 2 rds of someones anti-tank rocket. Now this would seem reasonable to me but many times I have put up to 4 rds in a tank and not have the same result. I know in COD you always wanted to hit the tanks in their ass end and was wondering if this was the case with BF2.

Does anyone know if there is a key weak spot to aim for in destroying armor?

I believe the rear of the vehicle is the weakest part of the armor. There actually is a thread on it somewhere.

Yep that's the key, I think the tracks are weaker as well. (Wrong forum btw)

tanks will die in two shots to the back with the anti-tank sraw etc. the top is also weaker if you are above the tank I suggest hitting the top. Mostly just get on a local server and do a few tests by shooting a tank in different places, then jump in and see how much health has been taken away.

In addition to his question is there a glitch when fighting in tanks? I know the rear is weaker and will only take 2 hits from sraw or tank shell, or 1 from a tow.... but once in a while i will be fighting another tank face to face pretty much exchanging shots back and forth, and either their first shot will nearly kill me (2-3 bars left), or i'll be sitting and nearly full health and one shot from the other tank will kill me. Anyone have this happen to them? Or are my tanks all made by FORD????????
