BF2S Forums Downloading Dogfighter Video....

have you tried just using quicktime to open that? or are you saying that it will not unzip? an avi is a precompressed file, and that may be screwing it up.

I just d/l it from here.
Winzip gets an error, cannot open it either.
I'll report to mods.

It is a really good video.  That guy is a very skilled flier, and that's another great job of production by Captiva.

He actually flies at Dragon Valley?  That's crazy in itself, the sky is such a whitewash.  I like how he uses the F-35.  I guess it's not completely useless afterall?  Does he use keyboard or joystick?

I guess those 1-on-1 dogfights were staged, in a private server?  Did he mod the maps?  It looked like Wake with some extra carriers, but maybe its just a map I don't know (I don't play BF2:SF).

Hi no one answered my q's, so I am bumping.
I don't feel bad though, because this is a great video with great pilot, in case you hadn't seen it yet.
I don't know if d/l problem was ever fixed from BF2s, I ended up waching it at google, then d/l from Captiva.

So, my q's:
Does Cali fly joystick or keyboard?
Were those staged 1-vs-1 dogfights at Wake Airshow mod, or some SF map, or where?

No the 1v1s are not fixed, they are proper 1v1 matches on the wake airshow map which is modded to be HUGE(important in dogfighting I'm told), with the same planes on each side (no j10 vs f35) and the planes are coloured to make them look special. Catch|cali uses the logitech freedom 2.4, it says in the credits. Cali and his clanmate phantom are two of the best pilots in BF2.

When I said "staged 1-vs-1", I obviously meant "stage = scene of the action", not that it was fixed or scripted for production purposes.  I know they were fighting ftw.

Thx for answer about joystick.  (That was the one drawback of film, I didn't like how credits were presented, so I've never watched them through.)  I thought it was joystick, but some of the approaches on helos were so perfect, and the adjustments so fine, it almost looked like keybrd.

SGT.Slayero, I had same problem.  It d/l okay, but then won't play or unzip.  I reported it, but obviously nothing has been done about it yet.

watched dogfighter last night & loved it,had to watch it twice it was that good lol.

sweet flying man,i like how you use flyby view to track opponents,until now i've just used rear view but after watching that vid i've added flyby view to my controls & tested it out on kubra today & its a perfect view to keep track of the other jet.

that vid's a def keeper for my collection,loved your moves & i want those tunes in mp3 format lol,ask captiva if he'd post a dl link to the mixes he used.

p.s anyone having probs unzipping the file just double click the .rar,pick extract to in winrar,then in next window tick the box marked KEEP BROKEN FILES & it'll unzip & play without any probs.
